The Florida First Initiative, a 527 organization supporting Attorney General Bill McCollum for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, launched a new television ad on Tuesday taking aim at primary rival Rick Scott.

The ad hammers Scott for not releasing his deposition in a case involving Solantic Urgent Care, a company in which the gubernatorial hopeful is an investor. In a not-particularly-subtle maneuver, but one that should increasingly be expected in one of the nastiest political battles in Florida in recent years, the ad closes by listing Scott’s name -- with the “c” and the “o” being represented by a pair of handcuffs.
