Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam will announce details of the 2012 Florida Energy Summit on Friday during the Orlando Utilities Commission meeting.

The summit, a three-day conference hosted by Putnam’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, will “bring together energy leaders from across the state and around the nation to share ideas on diversifying the state’s energy sources, spurring economic growth and promoting energy conservation,” according to a release from Putnam’s office.
