AIF Health Care Summit in Orlando Already a Sell-Out
The Foundation of Associated Industries of Florida announced that its health care summit later -- that will feature a legislator heading the states look into responding to the federal health care law -- is sold out.
More than 300 have signed up for the Thursday and Friday event at the Orlandos World Center Marriott
Marcus Osborne, the vice president ofHealth and Wellness Payer Relations for Wal-Mart is the keynote speaker, while panels will be moderated by: Sen. Aaron Bean, R-Fernandina Beach; Sen. Denise Grimsley, R-Sebring; Sen. Joe Negron, R-Stuart; Reps. Richard Corcoran, R-New Port Richey; Rep. Matt Hudson, R-Naples; and Rep. John Wood, R-Winter Haven.
Negron, who has headed past legislative efforts on Medicaid reform in Florida, is heading the Senate committee looking into how Florida responds to the new federal health-care law.
