Apollo, Six Flags Exploring SeaWorld Buyout?
Reuters reports that sources say Apollo Global Management and Six Flags are both exploring the possibility of purchasing SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, which is presently owned by the Blackstone Group. Blackstone hasn't decided whether to sell SeaWorld to a private company or put it on the stock market as a public offering.
Apollo already owns several well-known companies including AMC Entertainment, American Idol, Claire's, Coldwell Banker, Century 21 Real Estate, Hardee's, and Norwegian Cruise Line.
