Bill McCollum Rickrolls the GOP Gov Race

Attorney General Bill McCollum does not want you to get rickrolled.

Summoning up one of the Internet crazes of the distant past, namely 2008, the Republican gubernatorial candidate takes aim at Rick Scott, his chief rival for the nomination, by rickrolling -- the strange phenomenon of luring someone to an online video only to play upbeat, blue-eyed soul singer Rick Astley’s annoyingly perky tune “Never Gonna Give You Up.” The McCollum camp released the rickrolling video on Tuesday to point out Scott’s record at HCA/Columbia. No word yet on whether McCollum will use other Internet memes (“All your base are belong to us” perhaps?) in future attacks on Scott.
