BREAKING: Adam Hasner Slams New Democrat Platform on Israel, Urges Opponent Lois Frankel to Join Criticism
Several Republicans are criticizing the Democrats' new platform for omitting any mention of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, or any mention of Hamas and the need to isolate the Islamist organization for as long as it endorses and commits terrorism against the Jewish state.
Boca Raton Republican Adam Hasner's congressional campaign has released the following press statement:
Hasner Calls On Lois Frankel To Support Jerusalem As the Capital of Israel
Boca Raton -- Adam Hasner released the following statement regarding the Democrat National Committee's platform changes that removed language, which previously acknowledged Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
"I find the changes to the DNC's platform deeply troubling," Hasner said. "Now, at one of the most chaotic times in Israel's history, we need to stand shoulder to shoulder with our closest ally in the Middle East."
"Last week my opponent Lois Frankel said Israel is a bipartisan issue," Hasner continued. "I'm asking Mayor Frankel to stand with me in denouncing the DNC's newest platform plank and show her commitment to supporting Jerusalem as the capital of Israel."

Lois Frankel said Israel is a bipartisan issue. "Hasner's Democratic opponent Lois Frankel said in a phone interview that she believes that issues involving Israel need to be bipartisan. "Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East," Frankel said, adding that she will work in Congress across party lines to "fight for the safety and security of Israel" and attempts by foreign governments to delegitimize Israel."
