Craig Miller Releases Poll and Fund-raising Figures
Craig Miller’s campaign team is forwarding the results of a new poll showing its candidate in first place in the GOP primary to take on U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas.
Miller authorized McLaughlin and Associates to poll the district and found most Republicans in the district -- a whopping 66 percent of them -- are undecided. Miller pulled 17 percent while Rep. Sandy Adams, R-Orlando, placed second with 11 percent. The rest of the field pulled 3 percent or less.
Miller, the former CEO of Ruth’s Chris, does have one advantage over the pack -- fund-raising. His campaign announced they raised more than $270,000 in the second quarter of 2010 and have more than $322,000 to run ads between now and the Aug. 24 primary.
"We are very pleased with the results," said Miller. "However, we are taking nothing for granted and will do whatever it takes to reach the undecided voters. Our fund-raising remains strong and will allow us to continue to advertise through television, radio, Internet, and direct mail. I would like everyone who is going to vote on Aug. 24 to know that I am a businessman, a Vietnam veteran, and someone who shares their desire to have someone in Congress who shares their values. Having served people all of my life, I will always be someone who works tirelessly for my constituents."

The truth is that no one, and I mean no one, is going to vote for Craig Miller who closed down Ruth's Chris HQ in Louisiana right after Katrina, stating "there's a pecking order of priorities in business, yourself, then your family, etc." Nice guy!
It's also interesting how he characterizes Karen Diebel as a "career politician" and changed Tom Garcia's name to "G. Tom Garcia" for the poll. The guy just can't be honest and if he were the front runner he wouldn't be resorting to these kind of attacks.
Mr. Miller, there's a "pecking odor" coming from you and it's offensive.
