Democratic attorney general candidate Sen. Dan Gelber’s campaign team continued to attack Republican rival Pam Bondi on Tuesday for connections to national Republicans. Continuing their line of attack concerning Bondi being aided by the Republican State Leadership Committee (RSLC), the Gelber team took aim at the RSLC’s connections to Karl Rove, the strategist who was affiliated with George W. Bush.

“Karl Rove and the national special interests are steadfast in their efforts to hijack races across the country, and they are wasting no time in bankrolling Pam Bondi’s campaign,” said Christian Ulvert, Gelber‘s campaign manager. “Pam Bondi claims to be an outsider, but it doesn’t get more political than working with Karl Rove.”
