Edison State College Narrows President Replacement Field

Edison State College is closer to replacing its $837,000-a-year former president.

The schools presidential search advisory committee has narrowed the list of candidate to nine, including: Joseph Sarnovsky, the executive vice president and CFO of Seminole State College in Sanford; Jean Wihbey, a provost at Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens; and Allen Witt, Hillsborough Community College campus president, according to the Naples Daily News.

The search committee must reduce the list to three to five, with those finalists interviewed by board members, the Naples Daily News reports. The board has yet to determine a salary for the new hire.
