Energy Summit Off and Running -- and Sunshine State News Is Live-Streaming It

Right on schedule Wednesday afternoon, Agriculture and Consumer Services Secretary Adam Putnam welcomed the more than 500 participants to the second annual Florida Energy Summit at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando.

Putnam described some of the items on the agenda, thanked sponsors and explained why his hopes are so high for this year's program.

"We passed a remarkable energy bill this last session," he said. "It isn't everything we hoped for, but we are so anxious to get your ideas on how we should move forward."

This is an exciting time for Sunshine State News. We are live-streaming this Summit -- a first for this news organization. Please spread the word. Our cameras are on, we're here in Orlando for you.
