Supreme Court Suspends Law License of Former Orlando Judge

Already removed from the bench, former Orange-Osceola circuit judge, N. James Turner has been suspended from practicing law for 90 days.

The Florida Supreme Court issued the order on Monday.

“The conditional guilty plea and consent judgment for discipline are approved and respondent is suspended from the practice of law for 90 days,” the court order stated. “Respondent has advised that he has not commenced practicing law in the months since he was removed from his judicial office; therefore this suspension is effective immediately.”

Turner was removed from the bench in February by the court due to accusations of inappropriate behavior with female co-workers.
