Gay Days at Disney World Targeted by Social Conservatives
A group of religious and social conservatives is targeting the Gay Days events at Disney World.
As they have in years past, the Florida Family Association (FFA) will be flying planes with banners “to warn unsuspecting families” about Gay Days on Friday and Saturday.
“We want to warn families before they expose their children to Gay Days’ same-sex revelry, before they pay money to Disney for parking, admission, novelties and food,” the FFA insisted in an email sent out to supporters on Thursday. “We also want to send a message that Gay Days’ public promotion of homosexuality to a captured audience inside the park is wrong.
“Last year Florida Family Association hired an aircraft company to pull a banner for 10 hours the day before Gay Day and 10 hours the day of to warn these families about this offensive event before they arrived on Saturday,” the FFA continued. “Thanks to the generous gifts of numerous supporters, our banner influenced mainstream family attendance at Disney during Gay Day to drop close to 50 percent. This warning to families spared tens of thousands of children from the unexpected exposure to this coming-out party.”

Pure hate bigotry, and from a group recognized as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an affiliate of the American Family Association.
The Florida Family Association (aka Christian David Caton, its founder, sole employee, and former executive director of the American Family Association) has a history of strident anti-gay rhetoric and Islamophobia.
The real question is why Sunshine State News and Kevin Derby keeps providing this extremist with an outlet for his venomous rhetoric and ideas. Perhaps they just like hate speech.
