The Florida Home Builders PAC announced on Friday they were backing Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp over two rivals for the Republican nomination for attorney general.

“I’m honored to receive the support from Florida’s home builders,” said Kottkamp. “They help drive Florida’s economy and are a vital factor as the state begins making a full rebound.”

“Jeff Kottkamp has a long track record of supporting Florida’s home builders and that’s why we stand with him today,” said Mike Rahn, chairman of the PAC. The group represents more than 10,000 Floridians. “From his time in the House of Representatives, where he was a leader on fighting for property rights, to his service as lieutenant governor, Jeff Kottkamp is a true friend and we fully endorse him for the Republican nomination for attorney general.”

“As attorney general and a member of the Florida Cabinet, home builders know I’ll be a partner with them because a vibrant construction industry means a stronger Florida,” said Kottkamp.
