Jeb Bush to Campaign for David Jolly in CD13 Race
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will be hitting the road to campaign for U.S. Rep. David Jolly for reelection to Florida's 13th Congressional District, Jolly's team announced Monday.
Bush has already endorsed Jolly, who will face off against former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist for the seat.
“Representative Jolly has done what any congressman should do and that’s do the job that he was elected to do," said Bush. "I am proud to support him in this race.”
Jolly had warm words for Bush as well.
“It’s an honor to receive such enthusiastic support from Governor Bush,” Jolly said. “Jeb worked tirelessly for all Floridians as Governor and especially for children throughout Pinellas and the entire nation as an advocate for education reform. We share this commitment to education, particularly when it comes to improving early childhood education and student readiness. I look forward to working with Governor Bush and families throughout Pinellas on these and other important priorities.”
