Charlie Crist's Party Switch Labeled 'Bogus' on 'Morning Joe'

With former U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough and the sounds of Jacksonville's own Lynyrd Skynyrd in the background, it was only natural that Florida politics dominated Thursday's edition of "Morning Joe" on MSNBC. Mika Brzezinski ripped into Gov. Charlie Crist on Thursday’s edition of “Morning Joe” for leaving the Republican Party to continue his bid for the U.S. Senate election as an independent.

Talking about how Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp backed former House Speaker Marco Rubio in the Senate race, Brzezinski labeled Crist’s switch as “bogus.” Noting that some politicians have also turned their backs on their original parties when behind in the polls, she tore into Crist for showing a complete lack of principles.

“People may still fall for it,” she conceded before blasting Crist for having no convictions.

Endorsed by Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, sarah Palin and the teaparty, plus WALLSTREET! Rubio, under federal investigation, has failed to file his '09 tax returns. We won't see those till after the election! With the disclosures of Rubio's previous tax forms, its obvious Rubio sold out his position as Speaker of the House. The millions of taxpayer dollars funneled to F.I.U, Jackson hospital, and the tollway deal, Then getting consulting fees, and work from these outfits! The old republican "wink, wink, nod, nod" type business as usual! Feathering his own nest, at the taxpayers expense. I will Marco Rubio is the only candidate to trust to go to Washinington and cut social security to give tax breaks to the rich!
