More Americans Think George Zimmerman Shot Trayvon Martin in Self-Defense

A poll from Rasmussen Reports released on Tuesday finds that more Americans are starting to think that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin in self-defense.

The poll of American adults finds that 24 percent of American adults think Zimmerman is guilty of murder -- down from 33 percent in a Rasmussen poll from late March and 30 percent in another poll taken in early April.

Back in March, 15 percent thought Zimmerman acted in self-defense -- but that number has jumped up to 40 percent in the new poll.

In the new poll, only 36 percent are undecided, down from 55 percent in the March poll.

The poll of 1,000 American adults was taken on May 19-20 and had a margin of error of +/- 3 percent.

Most of the details in this case are irrelevant -- it's actually pretty simple if you READ THE LAW.

Case stands a 95% plus chance of being tossed at the Self-Defense Immunity Hearing -- the case meets the requirements by wide margins, and the judge is a no-nonsense type who knows the law and will act straight on it.

None of 'profiling', 'following', 'getting out of a truck', 'confronting', etc are crimes.

What actually matters:

Who started the physically fight?

With or without that answer:

Who was getting beat to death against the concrete?

Simply answer:

Who has the injuries to his face and head?

Who did the eye witnesses see on top, repeatedly delivering blows “MMA style”?

It's actually a pretty simple case of self-defense if you leave out the incompetent media and prejudices.

I don't know who started what when, but there does seem to be a few facts that shouldn't be lost sight of:

Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon had never assaulted a policeman
Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon had never been arrested
Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon never had a restraining order
Unlike Zimmerman, Trayvon had no history of going ballistic

If Zimmerman doesn't falsely target the kid, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman doesn't follow after the kid, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman doesn't ignore the police's advice, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman stayed in his car, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman doesn't confront the kid, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman wasn't carrying a gun, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman doesn't draw his gun on an unarmed kid, Trayvon's alive.
If Zimmerman doesn't pull the gun's trigger, Trayvon's alive.
Only because Zimmerman did all these things is Trayvon dead.
Only because Zimmerman did all these things is he facing jail time.
