New Ad Slams Trump for Refusing to Denounce KKK

A political committee with ties to U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio is slamming Donald Trump over his refusal to condemn the Ku Klux Klan and disavow one of its ex-leaders David Duke.

The new ad from Conservative Solution PAC, opens with CNN's Jake Tapper's recollection of his weekend interview with Trump.

"I asked Donald Trump three times if he would disavow the support of David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan," Tapper says.

"Well, I have to look at the group," Donald Trump then says.

"Trump refused to denounce the KKK," the narrator then says. "Think about that.. for president?"

Trump evaded the question. In the interview, Trump later tells Tapper:

"You wouldn't want me to condemn a group I know nothing about."

On Monday, Trump blamed his responses on CNN for giving him a faulty earpiece, saying he couldn't hear Tapper's questions very well.
