New Poll Shows Marco Rubio Beating Charlie Crist by 11 Percent

Rasmussen Reports released a new poll on Wednesday, confirming what polls have shown for the last two weeks -- that Republican candidate Marco Rubio is leading in the U.S. Senate race by a healthy margin.

The new poll of 750 likely voters taken on Sept. 28 had Rubio at 41 percent and Gov. Charlie Crist, who is running without party affiliation, in second with 30 percent. Democratic nominee U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek lagged in third with 21 percent.

The poll had a margin of error of +/- 4 percent.
