Obama Solicitor General Even Blasted by Mother Jones

How bad was the Obama administration's oral-argument defense of Obamacare on Tuesday?

Even one of the most left-wing publications in America hated the presentation on behalf of one of the most left-wing administrations in American history.

The Mother Jones critique starts like this:

"Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr. should be grateful to the Supreme Court for refusing to allow cameras in the courtroom, because his defense of Obamacare on Tuesday may go down as one of the most spectacular flameouts in the history of the court."

It gets worse from there.

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi should be pleased.

(By the way, why, you might ask, is a Sunshine State News editor even reading Mother Jones? So you don't have to.)

Oh, I would of thought it was the same reason a Mother Jones reader also reads the Sunshine State News. For a broader perspective of the issues or to read about things you might not otherwise read. Though in the case of actual news "reporting" it should be to be truly fair and balanced when reporting the news. And surely not show your partisan slant unless you're writing commentary.

(Though the cynic in me would think you read it if not for ammo against the dreaded lefties perspective of the issues, then so you can mock them. :-))

Hmmm...it would be easier for Verrilli to that the sky is green or explaining how pigs fly to the Supremes.
