Rasmussen: Obama and Romney Tied in Florida

Rasmussen's latest poll shows President Obama leading Mitt Romney in Florida, 48 percent to 46 percent, well within the statistical margin of error.

The poll confirms Florida's status as a key swing state that could go either way come November. Real Clear Politics poll averages show Obama just barely leading Romney, 47.6 to 47 percent. The same averages show that if the election were held today, Obama would win 319 electoral votes to Romney's 219.

The Rasmussen survey of 500 likely Florida voters was conducted on September 12. The margin of error is +/- 4.5.
