Rick Santorum Leads Mitt Romney in Another Michigan Poll


Another poll finds Rick Santorum leading the pack of Republican presidential candidates in Michigan. Two polls released on Monday found Santorum ahead in Michigan.

A poll of likely GOP Michigan primary voters released from Rasmussen Reports on Tuesday finds Santorum ahead of Mitt Romney, whose father was governor of the Great Lakes State in the 1960s. Santorum takes 35 percent, while Romney places second with 32 percent. Ron Paul places third with 13 percent and Newt Gingrich lags with 11 percent. Eight percent remain undecided, while 1 percent support other candidates.  

The poll of 750 likely Michigan Republican primary voters was taken on Feb. 13 and had an error of +/- 4 percent.
