Rick Scott’s Appointments Director to Run Volunteer Florida

Gov. Rick Scott announced that director of appointments Chester Spellman has been named chief executive officer of Volunteer Florida.

“Chester was an effective member of my campaign, inaugural activities and has more than 10 years of experience in leading nonprofit organizations focused on youth development, education and mentoring,” Scott stated in a release.

“He has spent considerable time volunteering locally and abroad, and I know he will do a fantastic job promoting and implementing volunteerism in his new role at Volunteer Florida. He is passionate about giving back to the people of Florida, and I wish Chester the best of luck.”

Spellman will continue as director until May 11. Hannah Causseaux will replace him as director of appointments starting May 1.

Causseaux previously served in the office of House Speaker Dean Cannon facilitating public records requests and processing legislative appointments. She has also served as the finance director of House campaigns and deputy director of special events at the Republican Party of Florida, and as deputy director of scheduling in the Office of the Governor.

Looks like another force out by the MacNamara Regime. Before long the only one left will be the Governor and I am sure he is trying to figure out a way to do that as well.
