Rick Scott: 'I Can’t Image We’re Not Going to Win'

Gov. Rick Scott expressed optimism as the state’s push to find non-U.S. citizens among the list of registered voters has moved into the court system.

“I can’t image we’re not going to win,” Scott said, while continuing to plead the state’s case in the court of public opinion in separate interviews on WFLA 970-AM in Tampa, WFLA 100.7-FM in Tallahassee and 9.25-FM Fox News in Fort Myers.

Scott conducted the series of live telephone interviews Thursday morning with friendly radio talk-show hosts across Florida as the state has taken the Obama administration to court to gain access to a Homeland Security database to aid the search for noncitizens.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Justice has countered with its own lawsuit claiming that the state must stop the effort as federal laws prohibit such work within 90 days of an election.

On Tuesday, Scott went on the national airwaves focused on the state’s registration effort with interviews that included appearances on Fox News and CNN.

“I can’t image we’re not going to win"

Unfortunately, Mad Hatters can never truly recognize the extent of their insanity.
