Rick Scott Makes Four Judicial Nominating Commission Appointments

Gov. Rick Scott has appointed Diidri W. Robinson to the 7th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, and Pamela E. Langham, Thomas F. Gonzalez and Lennard B. Register III to the 1st Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

Diidri W. Robinson, 32, of Saint Johns, has been an assistant United States attorney for the Middle District of Florida since 2011.

Succeeding Danny Berenberg, Robinson’s term is through July 1, 2016.

Pamela E. Langham, 47, of Gulf Breeze, has been a sole practitioner since 2005. Previously, she was an assistant attorney at the University of West Florida from 2002 to 2003 and an assistant public defender with the Jacksonville Office of the Public Defender from 1992 to 1996.

Thomas F. Gonzalez, 45, of Pensacola, has been a partner with Beggs and Lane since 1999. He served in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1996.

Lennard B. Register III, 58, of Pace, has been an assistant United States attorney for the United States attorney’s office in Pensacola since 2002. Previously, he served as an assistant state attorney for the 8th Judicial Circuit from 1989 to 1993.

Gonzalez’s term ends July 1, 2015.

The appointments of Register and Langham are through July 1, 2016.
