Rick Scott Names Elizabeth Webster to Board of Governors

Elizabeth L. Webster, the regional vice president of health services for Arcadian Health Plan, has been appointed by Gov. Rick Scott to the Board of Governors of the State University System.

Webster, 39, of Weston, has been with Arcadian Health Plan since 2008.

Previously, she was director of case management and admissions for Cornerstone Hospital from 2006 to 2008 and executive director of case management for Kindred Hospital from 2002 to 2005.

She will take the place of former state representative Christopher Corr, who resigned after being appointed to the University of Florida’s board of trustees on May 22.

Corr, 48, of Lake Lure, N.C., a UF graduate, is an executive vice president of AECOM. He previously was an executive vice president of real estate for the St. Joe Co. and a senior manager with the Walt Disney Co.

Webster’s term is through Jan. 6, 2019.

Both appointments require confirmation by the Florida Senate.
