Rick Scott: Pam Bondi’s Cayman Weekend was 'A Celebration'
Speculation in the media has grown about Attorney General Pam Bondi’s pre-wedding celebration weekend in the Cayman Islands, but one guest, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, offered the media few details.
“I went there for a celebration with Pam,” Scott responded Wednesday during a semi-private bill signing ceremony at the Capitol.
Scott said he spent a day in the Cayman Islands as part of Bondi’s party following his business trip to Spain.
Bondi, engaged to Tampa ophthalmologist Greg Henderson, told a Tampa Tribune reporter on Saturday, “We’re here with our closest friends and family, celebrating our upcoming nuptials.”
“Legally, officially we will be married back in the United States,” she added.
The Cayman Islands is a British Overseas Territory.
Sen. Paula Dockery, R-Lakeland, set off the paparazzi-style coverage after posting online comments about Bondi’s wedding weekend.

I will be as straight forward and honest on this as Scott usually is -
Way to go to support them Florida jobs - couldn't find a reliable caterer in the Keys? Attorney General's a job killer, albeit a rich one.
Couldn't even have this in the American Virgin islands. Only thing worse would have been to have this in Martinique - French, you see . . . . well, it's a Tea Party thing.
Let's see, what else is it they have in the Cayman's - oh, that's right, secret offshore bank accounts . . . .wonder if that figures in somehow.
