Rick Scott: Siemens Energy to Create 50 Jobs in Orlando
Gov. Rick Scott announced Wednesday that Siemens is bringing 50 new jobs as its builds a 40,000-square-foot wind service training center in Orlando, near the American headquarters of the companys energy business.
The release from the governors office is the first of two expected as he is scheduled to be in Sunrise at 2 p.m. as Emerson Latin American holds a new jobs announcement.
Weve worked to make Florida the best place in the world to grow a business and find a job, and Siemens new training center proves were succeeding in our efforts to grow opportunities for Florida families, Scott stated in a release regarding Siemens.
With 50 new jobs, 50 Florida families will have more opportunities to pursue their version of American dream, which is great news for the Orlando community.
Siemens was supported in setting up the $7 million capital investment plan in Orlando, by the city of Orlando, Enterprise Florida Inc. and the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission.
