Rick Scott to Twice More Sign Auto Insurance Reform Bill
Gov. Rick Scott will hold two more ceremonial bill signings today for the law to reform personal injury protection auto insurance.
Scott will be at the Orlando Police Department Range at 9 a.m. and the Florida Highway Patrol Office Troop C in Tampa at 11:30 a.m.
Scott signed the reform bill on May 4, holding a ceremony at the Florida State College, Law Enforcement Training/Criminal Justice Center in Jacksonville.
On Monday, he held a ceremonial signing of House Bill 119 in West Palm Beach.
The law, which goes into place July 1, is designed to slow the rapid rise of the most affordable auto insurance in Florida.
