Rick Scott is Upside Down in New Rasmussen Poll

A poll released by Rasmussen Reports on Wednesday has good news for Republicans in Florida as it shows that U.S. Rep. Connie Mack has a solid lead over Democrat incumbent U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson. It also showed Mitt Romney leading Barack Obama by 1 percent in the Sunshine State.

But the poll does have bad news for one Republican in Florida -- Gov. Rick Scott. Scott remains upside down with Florida voters though the Republican does better in the Rasmussen poll than he has in other recent surveys. A majority of those surveyed in the Rasmussen poll -- 53 percent -- disapprove of Scott while 44 percent approve of the governor.

The poll of 500 likely voters was taken on July 9 and had a margin of error of +/- 4.5 percent.
