Rubio Cleared in Audit; Crist and Greer Linked on Spending


A forensic audit of state Republican Party books found a pattern of lavish joint vacations taken by Gov. Charlie Crist and his handpicked former Party Chairman Jim Greer -- all charged to the RPOF.

The cozy and costly jaunts are itemized in the audit released today.

Meantime, Republican Senate candidate Marco Rubio, who was alleged to have used a party American Express card for personal use, was cleared by auditors, as were incoming House Speaker Dean Cannon and outgoing Senate President Jeff Atwater.
