Tea vs. TEA: Who's Who In Judicial Retention Battle
Our story about Supreme Court Justices Jorge Labarga and James Perry dodging the bullet at the ballot box this year confused at least one reader.
In an online comment about the article, the poster assumed that the tea party effort to unseat Labarga and Perry was the work of the Florida TEA (Taxed Enought Already) Party. In fact, the campaign was waged by mainstream, generic tea partiers and other conservative groups. The TEA Party, headed by Orlando attorney Fred O'Neal, opposed the effort and recommended retention of Labarga and Perry.

You know there was another movement that became a political party, it was called the republican party. They were the anti-slavery movement, and turned into a party to effect political change. The Florida Tea Party is the same thing. They are an anti-big government movement that is trying to become a party to effect change in the political arena. BTW when the republicans started Abraham Lincoln said not to vote for the republicans because it would split the Whig party vote, sound familiar?

Well I guess we can see who has the most influence, The Florida Tea Party. Just wait until 2012, they say their gonna have 100 candidates statewide. Go TEA!

Any REAL patriot knows that these judges were right not to give-in and re-write constitutional amendments. Why the tea party "movement" folks didn't understand that is beyond me.

Jorge Labarga is a Defendant in a Trillion Dollar Federal RICO & ANTITRUST Lawsuit, legally related by Federal Judge Shira Scheindlin to a NY Supreme Court Whistleblower Lawsuit.

Thank God these 2 Judges were retained. Because if the idiot tea party led by Tillison and Hoyt had their way Perry and Labarga would out for no good reason. The Real Tea Party supported them because we actually know how to read.

Just goes to show who the REAL Tea Party is. Why would anyone listen to the wackos like Jason Hoyt, and Tom Tillison? Everyone knows these two are paid political operatives, and now we can see just how useless they really are. Perry and Labarga got that case exactly right, if anyone were to bother reading the case, which Fred O'Neal and Doug Guetzloe did, you would see that these 2 Judges DO oppose Obamacare, they just had to vote against this amendment because of the way it was written. In their opinion you can see they wanted to vote for it but the language was wrong, if it was re-written they would vote for it. So the Tea Party wins again.

I am glad I took the advice from The Florida TEA Party, thank you! and not the "generic"
