Vern Buchanan: Tie Congressional Pay to Passing a Budget
With the budgetary dances in Washington continuing, a Florida congressman has a proposal to speed things along.
U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan, R-Fla., released a Web video in which he talks about his legislation to withhold congressional pay unless a federal budget is passed.

“The legislation is simple,” Buchanan says in the video. “Members of the U.S. Senate and House do not get paid until they pass a budget. No small business would tolerate paying an employee who refuses to do his or her job. So why should Congress get paid for failing to complete one of its most basic responsibilities?”

Vern can freeze his House pay because he still has the desire, will, opportunity and continues to rip off the consumers at his multi auto dealerships according the former employees, partners and the records supplied by these parties. His house pay is chump change and we are the chumps.

No government should tolerate a congressman who refuses to testify about his business practices. Tell the truth Vern. Tick tock.

Be like Rankin Paynter, the gentleman from Ky who bought the complete K Mart inventory and turned it over to charity.. $200,000 you wouldn't even miss. Show compassion, then I might vote for you, but not until
