House Speaker-designate Will Weatherford, R-Wesley Chapel, released the following forward-looking statement Wednesday, following Tuesday’s Republican primary election results:

“Florida Republicans have chosen a strong slate of House candidates committed to the principles of fiscal responsibility, limited government and lower taxes.
