Central Florida woman named one of Obama's national co-chairs
A Winter Haven woman was named today as one of President Obama's national co-chairs, a job the campaign said would involve advising on issues and engaging voters.
Lynnette Acosta, 33, is an Obama For American volunteer leader in Central Florida. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 2000 then went to work for General Electric. She then served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Honduras. She is married and has two children.
