Energy on Obama's Miami agenda

President Obama will talk about U.S. energy and the rising cost of gas when he jets to Miami on Thursday for an appearance at the University of Miami -- along with some fundraisers.

Senior administration officials told reporters that Obama will note that during his term domestic oil production has increased -- while imports have decreased. And they said Obama would outline some steps the U.S. could take to avoid what they said are periodic spikes in prices.
