Rubio, a member of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, came out swinging at President Barack Obama and former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday in an op-ed published in the Washington Post.

Even though he holds a massive lead in the polls, former Gov. Charlie Crist is going all out in the final days of the Democratic primary as he looks to beat former Florida Senate Democratic Leader Nan Rich. Crist was in Little Havana on Thursday, leading phone bank efforts as he tries to get his voters out to the polls on Tuesday.

News broke this week that former Gov. Jeb Bush, R-Fla., was involved in creating a Florida-based private equity investment firm, Britton Hill Holdings LLC, last year. Bush joined with former bankers to launch the company which has focused in part on energy investments.

Hillary Clinton-Charlie Crist 2016? Speaking to the Republican Club of the Palm Beaches this week, Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam sounded the alarm to the GOP faithful, insisting the former governor and new Democrat could be on Clinton’s shortlist if he beats Gov. Rick Scott in November.

Gov. Rick Scott sent out newly appointed Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera to South Florida on Friday to reach out to supporters in South Florida. Lopez-Cantera was in Stuart on Friday morning to speak at the Martin County Republican Party Breakfast. Later in the day, Lopez-Cantera reached out to the business community, speaking at the Okeechobee and Boca Raton business round tables.
