Democrat Alan Grayson looks to defend his congressional seat against one of a host of Republican challengers. Grayson has raised an astonishing $3.5 million, $2.9 million from individuals and more than $533,000 from PACs. Grayson had more than $1.4 million cash on hand on June 30.

The Florida Renewable Energy Producers Association will be holding a forum in Orlando on July 14 and 15 and have invited the major candidates for governor, the U.S. Senate and agriculture and consumer services commissioner. The Orange County League of Women Voters will moderate the forums for the candidates.
