Public Policy Polling (PPP), a firm with connections to national Democrats, released a new poll Tuesday that showed former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who moved to the Sunshine State last year, is the favorite to win the Iowa caucus if he decides to run for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

A poll released Tuesday from Public Policy Polling (PPP), a firm with ties to Democrats at the national level, reveals that Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson is ahead of most of his potential opponents, but remains vulnerable: He could not muster more than 50 percent against a pack of mostly unknown Republicans.

With less than three weeks to go until the election to replace him in the U.S. Senate, Republican George LeMieux continued to weigh in on the issues as speculation continued to grow that he intends to launch a campaign to return to Washington in 2012 by challenging Democratic U.S. Sen.
