As the close contest to be Florida’s next governor enters its final week, Democratic candidate Alex Sink and Republican candidate Rick Scott crossed lances in their last debate of a contentious election fight -- this time involving national rather than state issues, and this time showing the country a verbal bare-knuckle brawl, Florida-style.

U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek and billionaire real estate investor Jeff Greene, the two leading candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate race, met on Tuesday morning in their first debate. Despite different styles and backgrounds, Meek and Greene showed they agreed on a number of issues -- but that didn't stop them from attacking each another.

As "Fox News Sunday" moderator Chris Wallace pointed out, Gov. Charlie Crist and former Speaker of the House Marco Rubio most certainly are locked in a heated primary battle for the GOP Senate nomination in Florida. Wallace moderated a 42-minute debate between the two, after which the Sunshine State News staff asked for reaction.
