Five years ago, when Sunshine State News launched, Rick Scott wasn’t known to most Floridians outside of some financial and health-care circles.
The group of mostly young people who occupied the Capitol for 31 days and 30 nights, from July 16 to Aug. 15, were well-behaved and respectful of public property.
What started out for many students as a protest against racial injustice is becoming exactly what its puppet-handlers intended -- an opportunity to publicly embarrass re-election-minded Gov. Rick Scott.
