As if Gov. Rick Scott and the Florida Legislature don't have a high enough fiscal mountain to climb, the federal government is about to bill them for interest on the $2 billion the state borrowed to pay unemployment benefits.

John Thrasher of Jacksonville, former Gov. Jeb Bush kicked off the Hispanic Action Network to help the GOP reach out to those voters.

Rick Scott dropped the "elect" from his title this week, becoming the 45th governor of Florida and immediately getting to work, as he promised to do during his campaign – repeatedly.
