The governor putting his signature on a bill Thursday that changes how the state references the Korean and Vietnam wars completed a stroke of symbolic poetry -- not just for me, but for all Floridians who lost family and friends or fought in either of those wars.

Former Gov. Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential prospects got a boost this week as a new poll shows him leading the pack of Republican presidential hopefuls in a key primary state. A Palmetto Poll released this week shows Bush rolling in South Carolina which traditionally holds its primary after Iowa and New Hampshire have their say.

It probably pained Peter Schorsch to say it, but his observation in a Sunday blog about why Rick Scott has overtaken Charlie Crist in the latest polls is so direct, so simple, so spot-on it's like the SaintPetersBlog guru threw a can of paint in my face.

How right he is.
