More than 200 Caribbean shipping executives will be heading to Northeast Florida in May for their annual conference, the Jacksonville Port Authority, JaxPort, announced
The 11th annual Caribbean Shipping Executives Conference will take place May 21-23 at the Omni Plantation in Amelia Island.
“This conference presents an ideal opportunity to network with leaders in the field, as the Caribbean Shipping Association is the voice of the region’s shipping industry,” JaxPort CEO Paul Anderson stated in a release.
“The focus will be on the challenges and opportunities common to all maritime decision-makers and will lead us to better business choices and relationships.”
The Caribbean accounts for 43 percent of all the trade moving through JaxPort.
