OK, we know Mayor Lois Frankel is Jewish. But when she spoke at a rally for Kendrick Meek, she said something that sounded a bit peculiar.

"This is a big election," she said. "You know it's about jobs, it's about health-care and it's about, [pause for dramatic effect, or to figure out what else it's about] peace on earth."

While Mayor Frankel may be the first Democrat to publicly put this election on ideological par with the birth of Jesus Christ, there is at least one logical reason for the comment.

Later during the rally, another Democratic leader pointed out that President Bill Clinton's two terms represented eight years of peace, and when George Bush took over, the country found itself entrenched in war.

Perhaps Frankel just got caught up in the Clinton version of peace on earth.
