Carrying Water for Obama, Hilda Solis Picks a Fight with the Tea Party

With the team behind President Barack Obama targeting the Sunshine State in their bid for a second term in 2012, the White House sent U.S. Labor Secretary Hilda Solis to speak to the Florida Democratic Convention on Saturday.
A day after Vice President Joe Biden told the convention at Walt Disney World that Obama needed to carry Florida to win in 2012, Solis attempted to rally Democrats for the elections and urged them to push for the Obama jobs plan which, with Republicans controlling the U.S. House, has no chance of passing Congress.
Speaking at a luncheon event on Saturday, Solis carried water for Obama, bashing Republicans and praising the administration’s economic policies.
Solis offered harsh words about conservatives. Looking at 2012, Solis slammed the tea party movement, calling them “teabaggers” and promising the Obama administration will take them on.
Combating the noise of a crowd often more concerned with holding their own conversations and eating their lunches than listening to her speech, Solis attempted to defend the Obama economic policies, praising the federal stimulus that the White House backed and the president’s job plan.
Solis claimed that the Obama job plan was backed by 65 percent of the American people and would “put 2 million people, especially construction workers, back to work.”
Besides attempting to sell the Obama jobs plan, Solis took aim at the Republicans. She attacked Republican Gov. Rick Scott’s labor policies, arguing that he is looking to take away collective bargaining and other rights from public-sector employees.
Solis accused Republicans in Florida and other states, including Ohio and Wisconsin, of “picking on” teachers, police officers and other government workers.
Blaming globalization and market changes for the decline of organized labor in the private sector, Solis conceded that government workers retained strong unions. “We’ve seen the movement in the labor house diminish in the private sector,” said Solis.
Solis urged the crowd to back Obama and his jobs plan.“You need to understand that this president is fighting for you,” she insisted.
When Obama took the oath of office in January 2009, the national unemployment rate stood at 7.6 percent. In September 2011, the national unemployment rate was 9.1 percent.

The stupid, greedy and evil are always opposed to having their self-serving ways threatened by reason and reform.
The progressives/liberals are a bunch who will bring on disgusting filth to put those on the right down. Why this is just how they trated slaves back in the 1700/1800"s. But as a conservative, we need not stand by and take this any longer. We follow the examples set by MLK , no violence, just purpose.
As for what NObama's jobs bill will do for me.....NOTHING! Nothing but cost ME MORE! This admin. is NOT here for WE THE PEOPLE....it is there with the intent of driving our country into the ground. The Spanish perpetuated a genocide on the tribes of California during their reign of terror, the "missions" built by the Spanish were little more than concentration camps.
Aside from the southern coast of California, and a string of forts that ran along a line where the existing US/Mex border is today, none of the rest of what is now the US Southwest was ever conquered, settled by, built upon, or developed by Spain, because the native Indian tribes kept the Spainsh, and later Mexicans out of Indian lands.
The land sold to the US in the Treaty of Guadelupe Hidalgo and Gadsden Purchase was never part of the United Mexican States after Mexico became a sovereign nation in 1822.
It was Indian Territory after Spain stole it, and it was Indian Territory after Mexico stole it.

A couple of months ago I began referring to OhBummer as a pathological flea, inasmuch as the majority of Americans see him as a bloodsucking fraud and a dishonest propagandist.
About a week ago I bumped into a blog comment referring to the Occupy Wall Street gang as "the flea party" and I warned the author that I would STEAL his ingenius reference and use it wherever it could inflict the most damage on the enemies of the American taxpayers.
More recently still, my favorite columnist, Ann Coulter [she a Christian and myself an atheist], published a column entitled "WINGLESS, BLOODSUCKING AND PARASITIC: MEET THE FLEA PARTY!" at her anncoulterdotorg website.
Clearly, things have gotten out of hand. This prairie fire of flea-mongers are raging out of control, wherever you turn. ~:<)

What this country needs is a truly LIBERAL president and congress and judiciary!

But the Democrats believe in "statism" --- not "liberalism."
Strip them naked of their fake "liberal" label and expose their ugliness for all the world to see.
They benefit from the imprecise American political terminology ---- we say "the government" here in the USA ---- rather than "the state." And that's a dangerous problem. Famous brands of statism in recent centuries have been Nazism, socialism, fascism, communism, and welfare statism ---- this last is sort of a mix of fascism and socialism.
Liberalism, on the other hand, is a political philosophy of small, cheap government ---- it is a constabulary ---- and the job of a liberal government is to enforce human rights within its own jurisdiction. I speak of the unalienable and perfectly-natural and universally-valid human rights of life, liberty, private property, and the pursuit of personal happiness.
The first article of private property is "the self" and all other rights are derivatives of and flow from these cardinal rights. These rights ---- The Rights of Man ---- are the gift of nature or of nature's god ---- and they belong to all human beings, everywhere.
Show me a Democrat who subscribes to all of the above, without qualifications or weasel words. The words "liberal" and "liberalism" were hijacked by the Democrats and socialists and fascists long ago ---- and it was the mistake of conservatives and libertarians to let them get away with it.
It is long past time that liberalism be reclaimed, defined, and explained by its rightful owners ---- by the champions of freedom, i.e.: not by Democrats.
Well, how about "progressivism?" Whuzzat?! “Cancer” is “progressive,” too. Isn't “progressivism” just another statist cancer? It chews you up, piece by piece, in the name of Da Peepul? Eat Da Rich? Moral cannibalism, anyone?

OhBummer is a fool for attacking the American Tea Partiers. Heck, he thought that he had all of us hoodwinked, hornswoggled, and bamboozled. He’s annoyed that the Tea Partiers are not grateful to him for hijacking the American healthcare system --- the greatest act of vandalism perpetrated upon the American people since a gang of jihadi frootloops and loonytoons hijacked some planes and crashed them into the World Trade Center towers --- and the Pentagon, and made a failed attempt to crash into the White House --- and instead drilled a hole in a Pennsylvania farm thanks to some very courageous American passengers.
And --- now widely seen for what he is --- the president presents a problem for the Democrat-captured media. They pump out his propaganda for him --- and, like the opinion monitors in Ayn Rand’s novel, “Atlas Shrugged” --- they are dodging brickbats and rotten vegetables.
He’s pompous, pampered, and pretentious --- a pseudo-intellectual fop. He’s a glorified, smooth-lyin’ dandy, and slicker than Sick Willie Clinton. He’s a dictator-on-the-make, a bloodsxcking, predatory humanitarian thug, and a low-down skunk.
He’s a fraud and a swindler. He lies when he inhales and he lies when he exhales; his oxygen is the falsification of reality. He lies, placidly and laconically, as if deception were a soporific drug.

BTW, Google up "is obama a homosexual" and inform yourself on the data that wasn't vetted by the press when this abomination first presented himself as a Presidential candidate. I find it very 'rich' that this particular term in being thrown around to describe patriots when it really might apply to The One. No wonder Michelle looks soooo nasty all the time.

As for the president's new stimulus request, allow me to point out a few things about that:
1. The first stimulus plan was supposed to achieve the stated goal of this new request, but, of course, it didn't. In fact, a few weeks ago the president callously joked that those "shovel ready" jobs weren't quite as ready as he thought they were. That being the case, why should anyone believe that the outcome from this stimulus package would be any different than it was with the first one?
2. The nation might have money for infrastructure if this administration had not loaned it to "green" compnies, such as Solandra, that have now gone belly up. $500 million down the drain on that one. And this stimulus request is for what--around $470 million?
3. The vast majority of working people in this country are not union members, yet every mention of this money by democrats is about benefits unionized people will recieve from it. Apparently, if you work outside a union, in this adminstration, you don't count. In fact, at this moment democrats are attempting to thwart the building of a non-union Boing plant, a facility representing hundreds if not thousands of new jobs, in South Carolina. Instead of drilling for oil off our shores, this administration gives money to Brazil so they can do it, instead. So much for their sympathies towards the working man.
3. Finally, what happens to these jobs when they money runs out? They disappear, that's what. If you were a lucky enough union member to get one of these jobs, you would shortly be jobless again. In fact, this plan, along with the new college loan debt forgiveness plan, are nothing more than instruments this president is using to buy presidential election votes with. Plain, pure, simple. I only wish someone would ask Mr. Obama or Jay Carney this simple question: "When the money runs out, what happens to these jobs then?"
And Obama's stimulus that he is currently requesting is 470 BILLION, not million.
