Derail the Donald Trump Presidential Express

Surely Republicans can find a candidate with less ego and more scruples

New Heroes and Zeroes

He’s big and he’s brash and he brags like a sailor on shore leave. All fine for a TV personality hyping his new show. But Donald Trump is talking about running for the highest office in the land.

Let’s not let him. Whatever happens.

Let’s stop inviting this baloney business magnate to speak at tea party picnics. Let’s stop asking him serious questions about national policy so he can blather back the answers he thinks we want to hear. Let's stop following his combination political and TV-show malarkey on E! channel. And let's definitely stop comparing him – as one commentator did last week – to Ronald Reagan.

Trump is similar to the typical GOP / Tea Party candidates that we have been seeing for many years: Excessively wealthy, completely out of touch with the middle class and arrogant as the day is long.

How could "The Donald" possibly be worse than "The Won"?

It has been a long time since I have read a column filled with this much pabulum. Why not reduce the column to "I don't like Trump and I don't want you to continue to support him; just because." The columnist should use her talents to tout Obama's successes. News flash: That column would be about 80% shorter than the one suggested above.

The bankruptcies are just the tip of the iceberg. He cheats, lies and steals from average hard working citizens using his corporations like a game of 3-Card Monty. Contractors don't get paid when they work for him or finally settling for 75% of the agreed price. The man belongs on TV show, "Most Wanted" not The Apprentice.

Let's not change criminals in the White House.

I agree Nancy. "Dump the Trump"! However, what did you expect? You have a failing nitwit Tea Party leader in South Florida who thinks he owns the state standing with Trump who thinks he owns the country. A perfect match of bad hair and no brains.

The left will stay silent on Trump, praying he wins the nomination. Then they will expose his womanizing. So much so that he will make Bill Clinton look like the Dalia Lama! Wake up America!

Wilkinson has no influence over voters and many Tea Party members find him ineffective. Candidates will see this as the election cycles around - there are much more effective leaders in the group who make things happen.

Wilkinson and Trump... two peas in a pod. I don't have respect for either of them.
