Gov. Rick Scott has conjured up a 12th university that Florida can’t afford and nobody but outgoing Polk County Sen. J.D. Alexander thinks Florida needs.

So now, here we are. There’s not much left to do but write the alma mater theme song for the unfortunately-acronymed Florida Polytechnic University (FPU).

I would like to volunteer this one, original words and music to "This Time I Know It’s For Real" by Donna Summer, Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman. Click on the video below to refresh your memory on how the tune goes -- and sing along!

I would love to get a huge group together and go and sing this in front of the Governor's mansion one day.....but it probably wouldn't make a difference because Dick Scott will be too busy with his butt buddy, JD Alexander. The way Dick was so eager to cater to JD makes me wonder what they do in their private time together. Something is up, that's for sure

Ms Snyder, there is some confusion as any article about ethical behavior, as in encouraging same, or being critical of not behaving ethically is a novelty on Sunshine State News. Then there is the little matter of the report just issued as to the financial management of Polly Wolly U. Seems Goodman et al took their cue from JD as to how to follow rules, ie not at all.
